We spent 12 days from Zagreb to Dubrovnik with Max and his team, and had a wonderful time this June.
When starting to plan this trip in Nov. 2016, I contacted with Max by email, and immediately got his response. We discussed all the trip details by email maybe more than 100 times. How come? Because in the very beginning, there were only 8 people in my group, then two more friends wanted to join us, and then 4 more. Finally there are 14 in the group.
Max is patient and flexible, and always says, “no problem, we can do this.” It’s not easy for a small travel agency, I think. But they did a good job. Max is a good listener, very easy to communicate. He is knowledgeable, excelled at history, and loves his job.
Why I say Destinatour is reliable? Here are some reasons：
- On the first day of our trip, 4 friends who took Emirates Airlines, different planes from ours, had to stay in Taiwan airport overnight because there was something wrong with their plane. I contacted Max right away. He told me not to worry about anything. The driver would pick 10 of us up on time in the Zagreb airport, and start our first day journey. The next day we’d meet them and continue our trip together. They also got a refund of the first night stay.
- In one of the hotels we were told we should pay for the breakfast. I checked the Tour Fact Sheet Max sent me to make sure if we should. Then I emailed Max, as usual, getting the reply right away. No problem at all.
- After leaving Croatia, one person in my group found he lost his camera, but he had no idea where he lost it. I could only tried to contact Max. Can you believe that? 2 months later, my friend got his camera back!
We appreciate Max’s arrangements for our trip in Croatia, which is really a beautiful country. We all had a good time. I have to say Max should be proud of his team. The guide, Ivan is responsible. The driver, Tommy(?) is an excellent driver with fabulous driving skills. We all feel comfortable and safe on his bus. All my friends agree he's a 5-star driver. We’d like to say thanks to these two gentlemen.
We are not lucky enough to have Max as our guide all the way. He came to check if everything is fine a few times and also be our guide several times . We do enjoy his sharing with enthusiasm about Croatia.
